Stand-Up Comedy Courses and Presentation Skills with a Twist
Looking for a stand-up comedy course or presentation skills training with a difference?
Brighton Comedy Course delivers internationally acclaimed comedy training that helps people become funnier, bolder, and more confident communicators.
Our highly recommended Public Speaking & Pitching Courses, 1-2-1 Leadership Coaching for corporates, and other training programmes have earned five-star ratings on Facebook and Google, along with glowing reviews on LinkedIn.

If You Want to make people laugh more
People join our courses for all sorts of reasons — some dream of performing stand-up, others simply want a new challenge, to meet great people, and share a laugh. At the very least, you’ll never fear presentations or public speaking again — you might even start to enjoy it!
Many assume our students are all extroverts bursting with confidence. They’re not. Most arrive terrified at the thought of getting on stage. But with expert coaching, they gradually — and sometimes suddenly — break through their comfort zones, throw caution to the wind, and thrive.
Graduation gigs are often described as one of the best experiences of their lives.
Learn, Laugh, and Build Confidence
Our courses and day masterclasses create a relaxed space where you can breathe, be yourself, and discover your funny side. Whether you’re an individual looking to boost confidence or a team wanting to crush your fear of public speaking and hone presentation skills, this is a fun, engaging way to do it.
Everyone has it in them to be funny — we truly believe that. Confidence is the key ingredient to unlocking your comedic voice and letting it shine.
All courses can be taken in person in Brighton, online, or delivered on-site for corporate teams and groups.
Our Courses Include
The End of Groupfuel Showcase
The End of Groupfuel Showcase is a dynamic, comedy-meets–TED Talk–style event that celebrates your team’s success and innovation. A far cry from the usual forgettable company event, it’s a PR dream for businesses that think differently and want to showcase their brave, creative people. It can be added to any of our programmes — and it’s an experience your team will truly remember.
As a fitting conclusion to a longer course, like the Groupfuel Programme, participants demonstrate their new skills by delivering engaging presentations or pitches to an audience of clients and company stakeholders.
The event is hosted by professional coach and comedian Louise Stevenson, ensuring an evening filled with laughter, camaraderie, and memorable moments. It’s the perfect way to celebrate growth, progress, and the power of communication.
About Your Coach
A Scottish stand-up who began her comedy career in 1999 on the New Zealand circuit, Louise went on to perform across London’s top venues including The King’s Head, The Comedy Store, and Banana Cabaret, as well as Scotland’s Stand Comedy Clubs in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Louise is the best-selling author of How to Be a Comedian and Smash Your First Gig and The New Comedian’s Handbook. She has performed alongside Jimmy Carr, Alan Carr, Rich Hall, and Stephen K. Amos, and was once knocked out of Channel 4’s So You Think You’re Funny by Russell Brand.
Her television appearances include Channel 4, Melbourne’s Channel 31, and BBC, and she’s a regular performer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where she featured in the sell-out show Scotland’s Best and Guests.
