About Louise Stevenson

Louise Stevenson is celebrated for her contributions to both the business and comedy worlds. With a background in stand-up comedy, Louise has worked alongside some of the biggest names in comedy, including Jimmy Carr, Alan Carr, and Rich Hall. Her stand-up career, which began in 1999, took her across the globe, including appearances on Channel 4 and RTE. She is a regular performer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has featured in sell-out shows, including Scotland’s Best and Guests.

As an accomplished author, Louise has written How to Be a Comedian and Smash Your First Gig and The New Comedian’s Handbook. Her upcoming book, Die Laughing, is set to be published by Funny Bones Publishing early in 2025.

In addition to her comedic achievements, Louise is an award-winning freelance journalist, contributing regularly to national newspapers and magazines on topics of comedy and public speaking.
